Job Summary
Develop and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plans while overseeing epidemiology, industrial hygiene, and safety programs. Collaborate with facility leaders, physicians, and external agencies to reduce disease transmission among residents, staff, and visitors. Ensure intervention and education for personnel during infection control breaches, outbreaks, or non-compliance issues. Participate in national collaboratives and external reporting to CDC NHSN and other quality organizations. Requires extensive knowledge of nursing procedures, regulatory guidelines, and strong leadership skills for full-time employment.
