Job Summary
Infection Prevention Nurse LPN/RN responsible for coordinating hospital-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program, outbreak management, employee health, and outcome & process surveillance. Serves as practitioner, resource, consultant, educator and facilitator for staff while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and standards from OSHA, APIC, AHOP and other regulatory bodies. Collaborates with department managers and medical directors to implement aspects of the Infection Prevention Program. Requires RN license preferred, LVN/LPN license in practicing state, BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and experience in nursing management and prevention control.
Required Qualifications
- RN license preferred but not required
- Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one
- Experience in nursing management and prevention control
