Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse

Oversee all infection control activities within the organization by directing performance improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with national, state, CMS, DNV, and other regulatory standards. Coordinate the infection control program including surveillance, data analysis, and report development while using epidemiological principles to design and evaluate prevention strategies. Provide consultation and education to staff, physicians, and community leaders; conduct annual risk assessments and notify health departments of reportable diseases. Develop improved patient care procedures, participate in employee orientation training, and organize committee meetings to evaluate the annual prevention plan.
