Job Summary
Conduct surveillance for the Infection Control Program and assist with its implementation and maintenance. Serve as a resource to all hospital departments by participating in identified projects or groups related to Infection Control. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or a related health science, with two to five years of clinical experience. Master's degrees in Nursing, Epidemiology, or Public Health are preferred. Current Nevada license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology or other health related science
- Two (2) to five (5) years clinical experience in health related field
- Current State of Nevada license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or other related health science
Desired Qualifications
- Master's in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, clinical Microbiology or other health related science
- One (1) year experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology
