Job Summary
Accountable for developing, managing and evaluating all aspects of the Infection Prevention program; implements and educates staff on IPAC policies and plans; proficient in NHSN surveillance for healthcare-associated infections; ensures data submission and database management with 100% accuracy; analyzes lab and patient information for surveillance and performance improvement; compiles infection statistics for IPAC committees and nursing units; investigates outbreaks and evaluates outcomes; ensures regulatory compliance and collaborates with Employee Health, Environmental Safety, and department staff to educate and improve practices; participates in Environmental Rounds and supports IPAC committees; maintains infection prevention knowledge through APIC membership and conferences; RN license required with preferred CBIC certification; 1-3 years acute care nursing experience preferred.

- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing license in state of practice
- ActiveRN license Upon Hire
- Preferred: Certified In Infection Control (CBIC) Upon Hire
- 1-3 years acute care clinical nursing experience
