Infection Control/Wound RN Full-time

Instruct and document staff training on infection control policies and procedures, while developing and maintaining the prevention and antibiotic stewardship program. Audit wounds routinely to ensure proper treatment and documentation, round bi-weekly with the NP wound care provider, and provide QAPI reports on wounds and infection trends. Educate staff, volunteers, residents, and families on infection prevention, update care policies, and complete annual fit testing. Take weekend on-call clinical and staffing shifts on a rotating schedule. Requires an RN in Nebraska or a compact state with at least one year of LTC facility experience and specialty training in infection control.
