Infection Control & Wound Nurse (RN)

Monitor Braden Scale results to establish preventative measures for high-risk residents, ensure weekly wound measurements, and implement appropriate interventions. Develop and maintain an active Infection Control program ensuring binder and antimicrobial stewardship while ensuring orders are in medical records and care plans are entered. Participate in survey and mock-survey campus preparedness, conduct daily rounds to verify nursing service personnel adherence to standards, and complete reviews of fridge temps, FirstDose room temps, crash cart audits, and fall interventions. Provide patient care as needed and participate in campus on-call rotation based on schedule.
