Job Summary
Monitor Braden Scale results, establish preventative measures for high-risk residents, and ensure weekly wound measurements and appropriate interventions. Develop and maintain an active Infection Control program ensuring binder and antimicrobial stewardship. Ensure orders are in medical records, care plans entered, and CNA sheets updated. Make daily rounds to ensure nursing personnel adhere to acceptable standards. Complete reviews of fridge temps, FirstDose room temps, crash cart audits, fall interventions, and medication carts, reporting findings to leadership. Provide patient care as needed and participate in campus on-call rotation based on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license
- Current, valid CPR certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) preferred or willingness to complete the certification training program
- Infection Preventionist certification or willingness to complete the certification training program
