Job Summary
Infection Control Unit Manager leads daily nursing operations on the unit and provides supervision and clinical guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. The role works with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance, quality resident care, and positive resident and family experiences, with a strong focus on wound care. Responsibilities include clinical rounds, care planning, infection surveillance, staff training, adherence to infection prevention protocols, quality improvement initiatives, on-call leadership coverage, and collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- Infection Prevention certification or willingness to obtain
