Infection Control RN

Infection Control RN at Thrive Medical Services responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the facility infection prevention and control program; leads surveillance for communicable diseases, supports outbreak response, educates staff and patients, and ensures infection control practices meet correctional healthcare standards. Performs professional nursing care within RN scope, administers medications and treatments under provider orders, and coordinates with providers and custody staff. Educates patients and staff on prevention measures, assists with development of related policies, ensures proper labeling and storage of chemicals/medications, and participates in CQI activities to improve infection control outcomes while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, NCCHC, NMAC, and PREA; maintains security clearance and follows facility policies.
