Job Summary
Develop and maintain an employee health program while tracking vaccination records and managing care for routine health needs, occupational exposures, and work-related injuries. Conduct daily infection control surveillance, investigate outbreaks, and lead staff education initiatives. Participate in orientation programs, serve on committees, and engage with professional organizations to support special projects. Provide care and follow-up for employees across Griffin Memorial Hospital and two nearby facilities, ensuring consistent infection prevention standards. Fulfill on-call duties as needed and maintain a valid driver's license for required travel.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Bachelor's in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience
- Associate in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience
- Associate in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing
- Relevant education, training, experience and/or certification by the Board of Infection Control
- Strong commitment to patient well-being and safety
- Belief that recovery is possible
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness and ability to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position
- Ability to occasionally lift/carry 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work 24 hours, 7 days per week coverage

- Annual salary of $85,000
- Hourly rate of $40.86
