Job Summary
The Infant/Toddler Teacher will supervise children's groups and design day-to-day activity and learning plans. Responsibilities include executing reading readiness experiences, planning various educational activities, maintaining records of child development, and ensuring adequate nurturing for developmental tasks. Candidates must have at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education, one year of relevant work experience, DEEC certification, and be at least 18 years old. Certifications in First Aid and CPR and strong communication skills are also required.
Required Qualifications
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
- At least one-year work experience with the appropriate age group
- DEEC certification for age-appropriate group
- At least 18 years of age
- Certified in First Aid and CPR for children
- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to practice effective time management, organizational skills, priority management, and analytical ability
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
