Job Summary
Instruct and nurture infants to preschoolers using the proprietary LEAP curriculum to promote intellectual and creative growth in a safe, fun learning environment. Responsibilities include following schedules, maintaining health and safety, facilitating activities to support development, and adapting instruction to individual growth. Requires a high school diploma, 1+ years of childcare experience, ability to pass background checks, and compliance with state regulatory training hours and standards. The role supports a team-based early education setting open Monday–Friday with hours between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, in Houston, TX. Skills include classroom management, age-appropriate activity planning, child development knowledge, and a patient, loving approach to supporting young learners.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma
- 1+ years of childcare experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Maintain required state regulatory training hours
- Knowledge of Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers
- Knowledge of child development for ages infant, toddler, and preschool
