Job Summary
Navigate infants' first steps with gentle guidance while managing the classroom to ensure compliance with Office of Child Care regulations. Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Provide support to children, parents, and visitors, and accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, and supervision records. Assist classroom Aides in developing confidence and compassion within early childhood education.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to manage a classroom
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
