Job Summary
Navigate infants and toddlers through daily activities with gentle guidance while managing the classroom to ensure compliance with Office of Child Care regulations. Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster growth and exploration in a safe, clean, and inviting environment. Provide a welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, and visitors, and accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, and supervision records. Help navigate classroom Aides into early childhood education with confidence and compassion. Work Monday through Friday across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to manage a classroom
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving skills
- Patience
- Flexibility
