Job Summary
Infant Toddler Teacher (Oregon) provides safety, health, and development support for infants and toddlers in a Head Start/early childhood setting. Plans developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing, maintains a safe classroom, conducts developmental screenings and observations, collaborates with families, conducts home visits and parent conferences, supports staff and volunteers, maintains documentation, promotes nutrition and health standards, and participates in trainings and program planning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or Diploma de Educacion Secundaria or higher AND Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate within 6 months from date of hire OR One year Oregon community college certificate in field WITH training or coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
