Job Summary
The Infant Toddler Teacher II is responsible for providing quality educational experiences for children in the Head Start Program, including those with disabilities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized lesson plans, documenting children's educational experiences, maintaining active supervision, and administering standardized screenings. Candidates should have the required Child Development Associate (CDA) for Infant and Toddler credential and preferably an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior experience working with preschool children and parents is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience working with preschool children and parents
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) for Infant and Toddler credential
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or equivalent coursework
- Head Start experience
