Job Summary
Infant/Toddler Teacher responsible for managing a classroom in compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, creating engaging age-appropriate lesson plans, providing a welcoming environment for children and families, maintaining classroom displays and parent communications, and ensuring safety and accurate documentation. Requires an AA degree (or higher in ECE preferred), MD state credential Level 5, and relevant clock-hour training; full-time role with comprehensive benefits in Frederick, MD.
Required Qualifications
- 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum Planning plus 45 clock hrs of Infant/Toddler Training OR 90 clock hrs Infant/Toddler Child Development and Curriculum
- AA degree (or college credit equivalent) in Early Childhood Education or higher is preferred
- MD state credential Level 5
- 9 clock hrs of training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public if candidate has had no college coursework
