Job Summary
Collaborate with the Head Teacher and team to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children, ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment and developmentally appropriate activities. Assist with classroom routines, supervision, developmental screenings, and family engagement. Participate in home visits and parent/teacher conferences as needed; meet physical, background check, and drug test requirements; programs offer professional development and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent
- or enrolled in a CDA program and completion within two years
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred
