Job Summary
Lead the educational care and development of a specific classroom by implementing the program requirements. Supervise Instructional Assistants and collaborate with children, staff, and families to ensure high-quality early childhood education. Plan and implement a rich curriculum using Creative Curriculum and PITC, utilize the CLASS tool to guide intentional teaching and engagement, and maintain interest centers (Science, Math, Literacy & Language, Dramatic Play, Block Play, Sensory Play, Mindful Me, Soft Places) per ITERS guidelines. Ensure daily classroom cleanliness in line with Health & Safety guidelines. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in ECE/Child Development with Infant Toddler units and a Child development Teacher Permit. Physical requirements include mobility and ability to assist children. Location: Poway, CA (in-person classroom) with school-based benefits and compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in ECE/ Child Development +24 ECE credits, including Infant Toddler units AND Child development Teacher Permit
- OR Master’s Degree in ECE/ Child Development +24 ECE credits, including Infant Toddler units AND Child development Teacher Permit
