Job Summary
Navigate infant and toddler activities with gentle guidance while managing the classroom to ensure compliance with Office of Child Care regulations. Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, maintain a safe and clean environment, and provide a welcoming space for children, parents, and visitors. Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 3:00 as a float position. Help navigate classroom Aides into early childhood education with confidence and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to manage a classroom
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving skills
- Patience
- Flexibility
