Job Summary
Conduct developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers using the Battelle Developmental Inventory (BDI-2) or approved tools to determine Early Steps eligibility under IDEA Part C. Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary evaluation team and Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP) Team to recommend appropriate early intervention services based on peer-reviewed research. Provide timely, accurate written documentation for each evaluation and service, while submitting all clinic and billing documentation promptly. Deliver early intervention services to enrolled children and attend staff meetings, IFSP planning conferences, and trainings as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university
- 1–2 years of related experience or training
- Florida Certification as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS)
- Florida Medicaid Therapy and/or Early Intervention Provider Number
- NPI Number
- Confirmation of enrollment in the CMS Provider Management System
