Job Summary
Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher needed to support Lead Teacher and maintain a warm, nurturing classroom for infants and toddlers. Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences, monitor children's progress, and collaborate with families and fellow educators to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a safe, joyful setting. Work with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality, inclusive early childhood education and engage in regular meetings, parent conferences, and family engagement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Required Infant/Toddler CDA credential OR – 12 college credits toward an approved program in Early Childhood Education and currently enrolled
- Experience working with children ages birth to three and their families
- Maintain written records and manage time effectively
- Work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership
- Ability to lift children up to 35 lbs
- Bilingual English/Albanian or Spanish strongly preferred
