Job Summary
Navigate infants' first steps with gentle guidance while managing the classroom to ensure compliance with Office of Child Care regulations. Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity in a safe, clean environment welcoming parents and visitors. Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, and supervision records. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. Help navigate classroom Aides into early childhood education with confidence and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to manage a classroom
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving skills
- Patience
- Flexibility
