Job Summary
Assist the Infant Toddler Teacher with planning and conducting classroom instructional curriculum and activities that encourage growth in language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication skills. Perform daily health checks for children, monitor developmental screenings, and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) for families. Supervise classroom activities during the Teacher's absence while maintaining clear, consistent, and age-appropriate rules. Monitor individual child progress and support the Teacher with multi-tasking and time management. Maintain confidentiality of CC Idaho client records and adhere to safety practices. Seasonal Full-Time role running from March/April through December, including off-peak downtime. Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and crawling. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance
- Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis
- Must obtain Pedatric First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
- 6 months of experience teaching or in early education
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate credential (CDA)
