Job Summary
Assist teachers with planning and conducting classroom instructional curricula and activities for assigned children, focusing on language, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Perform daily health checks on children, monitor developmental screenings, and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) for families. Supervise classroom activities during the teacher's absence while maintaining clear, consistent rules and expectations. Monitor individual child progress and support multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment. Maintain strict confidentiality of CC Idaho client records and adhere to safety practices and Head Start Performance Standards. Requires a high school diploma, current driver's license, TB clearance, and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance
- Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis
- Must obtain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
- 6 months of experience teaching or in early education
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate credential (CDA)
