Job Summary
Lead infant teachers provide care for babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months, build strong bonds to foster trust and development, maintain a safe and nurturing environment for health, welfare, and safety, demonstrate classroom leadership, and communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and the community to support each child in the classroom.
Required Qualifications
- MSDE 90hr Infant/Toddler Certification or CDA Certification with Infant/Toddler Endorsement
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in infant/toddler care
- Excellent understanding of child development and instructional strategies
- Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations
- Warm, friendly, and cool-tempered demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Highly organized with multitasking ability
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate with others
- Willingness to undergo state and federal background checks and obtain any necessary clearances
