Job Summary
Provide attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines. Plan and implement age-appropriate sensory and developmental learning activities while fostering children's cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional growth. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment and build strong relationships with children and families through daily communication. Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to ensure exceptional care and follow all Virginia childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous childcare experience
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an infant classroom
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework
