Job Summary
Lead daily infant classroom routines for infants 6 weeks to 12 months; provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap support; create a safe, engaging environment that supports early development; plan and implement age-appropriate activities; maintain classroom organization and health/safety compliance; communicate regularly with families about daily routines and developmental progress; support assistant teachers and ensure consistent classroom structure; follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior infant classroom experience preferred
- Experience leading or supporting an infant classroom strongly preferred
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
