Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum to support each child's growth. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment while supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards. Maintain open communication with families regarding their child's progress and daily activities, and observe, assess, and document learning to inform future activities. Model positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution, while actively participating in ongoing professional development. Collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers to foster a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty members
