Job Summary
Infant Teacher at New Horizon Academy in North Olathe, KS. Provides infant care and early education in a collaboratively supported classroom environment. Must meet Kansas state child care licensing requirements and be able to work a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30am to 6:00pm. Role emphasizes a positive, team-centered attitude, a passion for helping children learn, and ongoing growth as an educator. Required Qualifications
- Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program
- Be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between 6:30am-6:00pm
- Have positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude
- Be willing to learn and grow as an educator
- Enjoy working with children
- Previous childcare experience preferred
- Provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
- Possess physical abilities to perform required job duties with or without accommodations
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff and understand state licensing regulations and company policies
