Job Summary
Design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that make learning feel like play and guide children through language, literacy, early math, and science discoveries. Foster social-emotional development through positive relationship building while observing and assessing each child's unique developmental progress. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued. Establish routines that help children feel secure and collaborate with families to support each child's individual growth. Ensure all health, safety, and licensing standards are exceeded. This role uses the Balanced Learning® approach with clear daily lesson plans and curriculum guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Meet local childcare regulatory requirements
- Physical ability to actively engage with children (lifting up to 35 lbs.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in licensed early childhood programs preferred
- Understanding of child development from infancy through pre-kindergarten
- ECE/Lead Teacher credentials preferred
