Job Summary
Infant Room Teacher needed to nurture and support development of infants in a warm classroom. Responsibilities include implementing age-appropriate activities to promote cognitive and physical development, monitoring and documenting children’s progress, communicating with parents about daily activities and milestones, maintaining a clean and safe classroom, collaborating with fellow teachers, attending staff meetings and professional development, and supporting emotional and social development through positive interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Early Childhood Education degree preferred
- Experience with infants or childcare setting desirable
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with parents and children
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations
