Job Summary
Supervise and manage daily functions for a class of infants and toddlers, implementing lesson plans that stress physical, social, and emotional growth while providing materials for exploration and active play. Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis, maintain a professional personal appearance, and observe all health, safety, and care regulations. Prepare classrooms for activities, attend required staff meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. This year-round, full-time position requires 1+ years of child care experience with children under age 5, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and early morning or closing shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position
- 1+ years of child care experience, specifically with children under the age of 5
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Ability to work early morning or closing shift
