Job Summary
Responsible for the preparation, delivery and proper storage of human milk and infant formula. Reviews infant feeding orders with the patient care team, accurately calculates additives based on orders, and mixes appropriately. Utilizes computerized inventory system and escalates issues to leadership. Follows food safety guidelines in the milk room and maintains stock of preparation supplies. Monitors inventory of patient-specific milk deposits and checks temperature and function of freezers/refrigerators in the milk room. Collects breast milk, ensures proper labeling and storage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1 year food service or healthcare experience
