Job Summary
Infant Mental Health Therapist provides psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families in an outpatient setting, including assessing treatment needs, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and determining discharge criteria. Responsibilities include completing intake forms, documentation, discharge planning by specified dates, and maintaining outcome measures for treatment effectiveness. The role supports early childhood mental health through Child-Parent Psychotherapy, with services typically rendered in natural settings (home or school) for ages birth to 5, across Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties, in a HIPAA-compliant space. The position offers access to CE opportunities, weekly clinical supervision toward licensure, and collaboration within a team. Licensure requirements vary by role (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT for licensed positions). The pay range depends on qualifications and experience, and benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree
- Licensed or registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491- and two years of experience working with children and families
- Active and clear State of Florida License - LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT for licensed positions
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
- Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance required
- Ability to work in a team environment
