Job Summary
Lead daily routines for infants 6 weeks to 12 months; provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision; implement developmentally appropriate sensory activities; observe and support milestones and early communication; maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom; guide assistant teachers; communicate regularly with families about routines and progress; follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies; professional development and collaborative teaching environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior childcare experience required
- CDA preferred but not required
- Infant classroom experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
