Job Summary
Lead daily routines and learning experiences in an infant classroom, providing attentive care including feeding, diapering, and naps. Create age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities while supporting early language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, guide assistant teachers, and observe developmental milestones to communicate regularly with families. Document all records and adhere to Michigan childcare licensing and safety requirements. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay of $17–$20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional infant or childcare classroom experience
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements for the position
Desired Qualifications
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credential
- Lead Teacher experience
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
- Patient, dependable, organized, and team-oriented
