Job Summary

Provide coverage in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classrooms as needed while assisting teachers with implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Maintain active supervision of children at all times, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in accordance with licensing regulations and company policies. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning experiences, prepare classroom materials, and observe developmental milestones to communicate progress to classroom teachers. Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and rest time routines while fostering positive interactions and modeling appropriate behavior. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive school culture and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • CPR and First Aid certification

Desired Qualifications

  • CDA, associate degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or daycare setting
  • Ability to work in multiple infant classrooms and adapt to changing needs
  • Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day
