Job Summary
Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers while modeling behaviors and providing feedback. Manage the overall classroom environment to ensure safety, nurture, and engagement for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® tailored to each child's unique needs. Communicate regularly with parents via mobile apps and personal discussions to share children's achievements. Partner with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals. Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to create a seamless play and learning environment. Requires at least six months of professional teaching experience, an Associate degree in ECE or related field, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of professional teaching experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree
- CPR and First Aide certification
