Job Summary

Coordinate the Professional Advisory Development Board and maintain an industry engagement database while planning networking events to facilitate student and faculty participation. Deliver career readiness workshops covering resume writing and job search strategies, manage the CMJobs recruiting platform, and oversee internship placement processes including site visits. Develop communications materials for industry partners and the public, track partnership impact, and supervise student hourly employees. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for events; in-state travel is necessary for internship visits. Requires a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in construction management or career services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Communications, Higher Education, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management, career services, employer relations, event coordination, or workforce development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Pre-employment criminal background check
  • In-state travel required for internship site visits and industry engagement
  • Occasional in and out-of-state travel for industry engagement
  • Occasional evening/weekend work for events and career fairs
  • Valid US driver's license with access to reliable transportation for in-state travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or workforce development
  • Demonstrated experience cultivating strategic partnerships with a wide variety of constituents
  • Experience working in higher education or with college students
  • Experience with employer engagement or advisory boards
  • Experience with marketing, communications, or social media strategy
  • Experience planning and delivering events, workshops, or student programming
  • Experience supporting career readiness (resume, interview, job search)
  • Experience managing systems such as job boards or databases
