Job Summary
Produce and create finalized metal goods, set up and fix machinery and parts, and perform examinations to assess weld quality and tolerance. Adhere to blueprints to fulfill product specifications, determine material dimensions, and arrange necessary parts for welding using powered saws to cut materials. Ensure equipment remains in a safe state by maintaining proper safety protocols and utilizing required PPE. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques, blueprint interpretation, and an understanding of metal properties. Crew lead experience and travel availability are essential. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or a related field
- Crew lead experience
- Must be available to travel
- Proficiency in welding equipment and techniques
- Strong capabilities in interpreting engineering blueprints and schematics
- Excellent understanding of various types of metal and their respective properties
- Capacity to manage physical demands
- Familiarity with safety regulations and readiness to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face shields and gloves
