Job Summary
Clean wood, linoleum, tile, and carpet floors; wash windows, dust surfaces, and sweep and mop areas. Change air filters and vents, collect trash and recycling, and maintain a thorough inventory of cleaning supplies. Order new supplies as needed and use commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners. Perform outdoor tasks including mowing green spaces, trimming bushes, and power-washing walls, windows, and sidewalks. Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds while following supervisor instructions in a heavy industrial worksite environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
- Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
- Time-management and multitasking abilities
- Physical strength and stamina
- Organization skills
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
