Industrial Vision & Software Engineer

Design and develop complete industrial vision solutions integrated into automated machines, managing the full lifecycle from feasibility studies and hardware selection to software development, validation, and commissioning. Analyse customer requirements to assess technical feasibility, then design machine vision systems for inspection, measurement, and guidance applications by selecting and integrating cameras, optics, lighting, and sensors. Develop robust 2D and 3D image processing algorithms, including AI-based inspection methods, while calibrating, validating, and optimizing entire vision systems. Build modern web applications for machine configuration and production monitoring, creating software modules that interact with industrial cameras, PLCs, and robots. Commission, tune, and troubleshoot prototype and production machines, implementing corrective actions for false rejects and process instabilities. Define validation procedures and participate in FATs. Work within a multidisciplinary team in Switzerland to build real industrial systems from camera to cloud for precision industries.
