Job Summary
Registered apprenticeship opportunity in one of three skilled trades (Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, Instrumentation and Control Technician, or Electrician) with on-site mentorship and hands-on training. No prior trade experience required; you will learn alongside journeypersons at industrial worksites, assisting with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs under supervision. Earn while you learn through an apprenticeship pathway toward journeyperson certification; emphasis on safety, learning, and long-term career development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior trade experience required
- Mentorship availability
- Willingness to meet entry requirements for a registered Alberta apprenticeship
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a labour, trades, or industrial setting
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS, or Ground Disturbance)
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with tools and equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Mentorship
