Job Summary
TAMKO seeks an Industrial Technician to provide industrial maintenance and troubleshooting for mechanical systems at the Frederick facility. Responsibilities include executing planned maintenance, conducting safety and environmental compliance, and performing precision maintenance techniques. The role requires a high school diploma and offers opportunities for specialization in Electrical, Rigging, Crane Operation, and Welding.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to operate multiple kinds of powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and man/personnel lifts
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Certification or Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
- Precision Maintenance or Reliability certifications
- Experience in Electrical System maintenance and basic troubleshooting up to 480V service
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding
- Experience with small crane operation, rigging, and hand signals
- Experience working in SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
