Job Summary
Industrial Technician position in Indianapolis, IN for overhead crane service focusing on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites; provide on-call and after-hours support; troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues; perform post-repair safety audits; prepare and submit service documentation; advise customers on safety and material handling improvements; work with OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI standards and maintain company equipment; requires a High School Diploma with preferred associate degree and minimum 1 year electrical/mechanical experience; requires lifting ability, travel, and remote work availability as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience
- Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair
- Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license
- Willing to work off the ground; travel and out-of-town work occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
