Job Summary
Industrial Technician A at TAMKO's Dallas, TX facility. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial mechanical equipment including safety guards and shields. Performs preventative maintenance (inspection, lubrication, alignment, etc.), responds to line calls, and replaces bearings, chains, sprockets, and various machine parts. Exercises tasks such as rebuilding pumps and cylinders following SOPs. Works on rotating shifts including nights and weekends with potential overtime. Requires collaboration with production supervisors/operators and other maintenance personnel. Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC motors and drives, and 480V 3-phase power is preferred; experience with precision maintenance tools, shaft alignment, belt tensioning, and torque is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, technical school, or equivalent military training and experience preferred
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
