Job Summary
Operate industrial sewing machines to sew pre-cut vinyl parts and fabricate upholstery covers for boat seats, including binding carpet and attaching snaps. Perform daily maintenance on single or double needle sewing machines, rewind bobbins, and collect, sort, count, and sew vinyl pieces according to designated patterns. Inspect completed products for quality and perform routine cleaning and minor adjustments. Requires high school diploma, manual dexterity for precision work, and ability to distinguish colors and shades. Full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
- Ability to identify vinyl pieces by shape and size
- Ability to perform various manual assembly operations such as trimming with scissors
- Ability to perform quality check own parts during sewing
- Ability to perform minor adjustments and perform routine cleaning operations on machines
