Industrial Services Technician

Industrial Services Technician responsible for safely and efficiently completing industrial field labor tasks across GFL’s core service lines, including site cleaning with power washing/hydro blasting, digging, sweeping, entering confined spaces, and handling hazardous waste after appropriate training. Identify hazards observed to protect personnel and equipment; properly wear, use, and maintain PPE and respirator equipment on HAZWOPER sites. Uniforms and PPE provided. Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment. Physical demands vary by project and may include extreme environmental conditions, long hours, standing, walking, crouching, use of hand tools, and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by site superintendent or management. Requirements include prior experience around heavy equipment preferred, valid driver’s license with clean driving record, successful pre-employment background and drug screening, and flexibility for schedule changes and on-call availability.
